The central government has taken revolutionary action to improve retail, with the implementation of the National Retail Policy.This is the first time the retail sector is likely to make a comprehensive national policy declaration.A senior official said Monday that the government is working to bring national retail policy to brick and mortar retailers with the aim of promoting well-favored trade.

He said the department is working to bring e-commerce policy for online retailers.“ We want to be coordinated between e-commerce and retailers ”, Sanjeev said at the FMCG and e-commerce conference.

The department is in the process of formulating an insurance plan for all retailers. He said the accident insurance plan would help small traders in the country, especially.
